2. Ideas  Research both historical survival tales (what might be the oldest ones) and modern ones (what are some current tv shows, movies, books).  What are common elements among survival tales? How have survival tales evolved?  Who are famous writers of the survival genre?  What are different types of survival stories?

3. Survival Powerpoints  Research the genre of survival literature. You may research survival authors (for example, Jack London), books, movies, short stories.  You may compare and contrast different survival tales.  You may look at the evolution of survival tales (how have they changed since the ancient times).  Save your powerpoint to Red Ribbon>JM Student > English > Nieland > Adventures When you are done, read The Hunger Games.
