Different set of rules per member state. –In some states you can submit PDF files, while in other states you need to fill in a web application per product. This differs from 1 to 15 minutes per product. Maintaining data in all different systems. –Formulations can change yearly. –Legislation generally changes every year

Views of the Paint Industry –Restricted disclosure of intellectual property Safe storage of data has to be guaranteed, as described in article 45.2a and b of CLP. –We do not have the complete breakdown of all raw materials at hand –We want to keep the Frame formulation concept for a group of products Color mixing systems at point of sale can create up to 10.000 colors (formulations).
