6. Identify ways schools receiving Title I funding can foster parent efficacy, leadership, and advocacy across demographics as a way to strengthen partnerships in children’s education.

Enhanced the DAC Executive Board responsibilities to include leadership of DAC meetings and input on content Revised DAC by-laws Discussed and proposed changes to School Board policy about virtual broadcasting of DAC meetings Learned about identifying leaders by creatively increasing parent participation at school events Shared a variety of parent leadership opportunities within schools Learned about leadership training opportunities offered through FCCPTA Discovered resources offered through the Parent Resource Center and the Family School Partnerships Office
