No restriction on the type of provision as long as it is:- Organised and structured Delivered to suit individuals’ existing skill levels Fits local market intelligence – job opportunities Suits individuals’ own career aspirations Activity must be focused on skills development and link to employment “ Our Future! 8. Training Delivery Does not have to be accredited Or lead to the achievement of qualifications Training should be specific to the requirements of the individual’s target employment Link pre-employment training to progression to job with ER funded provision (project outcome) “ Our Future! Key Target Groups – definitions Group 1: Individuals aged 18+ Possession of a personal redundancy letter (individual or name is part of a group) on employers’ letter head Listed as ‘under notice’ or redundancy from a specific date – pending redundancy “ Our Future! Geographical Area = Nottinghamshire Individuals outside of area under notice of redundancy: Depends on where employer based or where individual lives If employer is based in Nottinghamshire then employees outside the region will be eligible If there are employees involved who live outside of the area, check with NTN before signing up to ensure eligibility “ Our Future!
