3 MONTGOMERY BUS BOYCOTT  Buses were segregated and African American's usually had to sit in the back of the bus  Rosa Parks: In 1955 Rosa Parks Refused to give up her seat to a white man  People at her church started a boycott  Refused to ride busses  Took place in Montgomery, Alabama

4 DEFINITIONS Boycott: Refuse to do or stop using Nonviolent Protest: is a way of bringing change without using violence Martin Luther King Jr: A minister from Atlanta, Georgia Rosa Parks: Famous for refusing to a white man on a bus Montgomery Bus Boycott: When African Americans stop riding the buses and ride bikes, walk, or share cars
