Students will “go shopping” in various catalogs with a set amount of money to spend. They must decide what to buy taking into account all costs. Students will use a decision-making grid with established criteria to compare choices in a decision.

33. CONCLUSION All of the activities and websites included in this presentation can (and should) be used in an elementary school classroom within the Social Studies curriculum. We feel as though each of these activities will enhance the students’ knowledge of world studies.
