Up next in 2016: deeper integration with Office 365 to open up even more possibilities for teams.
wrapping up the foundational identity work with Azure Active Directory,
leveraging Office Graph signals for better people and group suggestions;
using Office Online for multi-user coauthoring in Yammer; and
hooking into the Office 365 Groups service to enable cross-workload scenarios with OneDrive, Outlook, OneNote and Skype.
And to improve collaboration with extended team members, we’ll also be delivering external groups, which lets users invite outside participants into their Yammer groups.

Mainstream Support for Office 2010 Suites terminates October 13, 2015
Extended Support terminates October 13, 2020.
Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 shipped July 2013.
The Product Update in October 2015 will be the final PU with security patches and other fixes for Office 2010 suites.

The New Web UX for OneDrive includes these features
Company-Shareable Links: provides a sharing link for every document that can be opened by any internal user who receives that link, without those users having to be manually added via an explicit share action. Users are not added to the Access Control List (ACL) until they access the file for the first time. This allows documents to be easily shared and re-shared, without those documents showing up in search and Delve for every internal user – which is a common complaint we hear when using the Shared with everyone folder.
Set an expiry date for a guest share: We’ll introduce the ability to set expiration dates for external guest links, which is another commonly requested feature. Expiration of anonymous shares
Modern attachments for Outlook: this feature is currently in OWA and we’ll bring that to the Outlook 2016 desktop client when it ships in September.
Other features being rolled out or in new client
An admin can set the amount of quota that a user can utilize. Being rolled out now.
Coming out In Q3/Q4 2015, admin will be able to set allow and deny lists for external sharing domains.
Archiving all external sharing s (sent via bcc:) into a folder. Q
With new client, increase number of files to 20,000.
With new client, increase individual file size to 10GB.
Already present features in the service
Already present and available is feature to limit sync client to a whitelist of domain names. This is managed via powershell by your admin.
Already present (After Aug ), we no longer provision "Shared with Everyone" folder for new tenants and users. Admins can enable this if desired. Also have a way to remove Everyone, Everyone except external users, and All Users from the people picker in the file sharing dialog. Details here:
Encryption
Each file in OD4B and in SharePoint is secured using per file encryption.
In Q1 2016, Customer Lockbox will be available. This provides for customer approval before Microsoft datacenter administrators are provided passwords for content.
Auditing
We are currently in Preview for Office 365 Auditing and Reporting capabilities (which includes OneDrive for Business). Having a Preview capability is important - it allows us to test/find issues.
Availability for Office 365 Auditing and Reporting is now scheduled for Q4 2015, before the end of the year.
An alternative today is the Office 365 Management Activity API preview. This allows customers to export the audit feed to their own databases and build customs reports.
