THE CALL TO WORSHIP [ Pastor / CONGREGATION] Philippians 4:4-8 Rejoice in the Lord always. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN: REJOICE! Let your gentleness be evident to all BECAUSE THE LORD IS NEAR. Do not be anxious about anything, BUT IN EVERYTHING by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD,
8
And the peace of God, which transcends ALL HUMAN UNDERSTANDING, will guard your hearts AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS. finally, brothers and sisters: WHATEVER IS TRUE, Whatever is noble, WHATEVER IS RIGHT,
9
whatever is pure, WHATEVER IS LOVELY, whatever is admirable, IF ANYTHING IS EXCELLENT if anything is praiseworthy, KEEP YOUR MINDS ON THESE THINGS.

THE OPENING HYMN ‘JOIN ALL THE GLORIOUS NAMES’ (Please use words on the screen) Tune: Hymn #132 [ All who are able please stand ]
11
(1) Join all the glorious names Of wisdom, love, and power, That ever mortals knew, That angels ever bore: All are too small to speak His worth, Too poor to set my Savior forth.
12
(2) Great Prophet of my God, My tongue would bless Your Name, By You the joyful news Of our salvation came, The joyful news of sin forgiv’n Of hell subdued, and peace with Heav’n.
13
(3) Be now my Counselor, My Pattern, and my Guide, And through this desert land Still keep me near Your side: Nor let my feet e’er run astray Nor rove nor seek the crooked way.
14
(4) Jesus, my great High Priest, Offered His blood, and died; My guilty conscience seeks No sacrifice beside: His powerful blood did once atone, And now it pleads before the throne.
15
(5) My dear almighty Lord, My Conqueror and my King, Your scepter and Your sword, Your reigning grace I sing: Yours is the power; behold I sit In willing bonds beneath Your feet.
16
(6) Now let my soul arise, And tread the tempter down; My Captain leads me forth To conquest and a crown: My treasured soul shall win the day, Though death and hell obstruct the way.
17
SILENT PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AND CONFESSION THE ASSURANCE OF PARDON Psalm 40:1-2 I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the desolate pit, out of the mud and the mire; He set my feet on the solid rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
18
