14 The ACTION PLAN The National Board of Directors recognizes a number of areas that require attention. With both Board and Operational areas identified, the NBOD can set policy to ensure actions are taken. The NBOD is responsible for policy (the Road Map) to ensure the future of the Association and the destination in which we desire to reach. The Executive Director is responsible for the delivery of Operational aspects to take the Association to the destination. The ED does this with the cooperation of Staff, National Management team of Governors, National Committees, District Teams and you as members and member clubs to deliver the end product in your community.

15 The ACTION PLAN…what’s next? The NBOD has passed the Operational survey results to the Executive Director. The NBOD has passed the individual District Operational results to the Governors. The Board has undertaken Strategic Planning with Aperio, a strategic consulting firm and are currently working on a 5-year Strategic plan that will be delivered in Fall 2014 The NBOD will be communicating with a Monthly Board report to the membership through various mediums

16 The ACTION PLAN…what’s next? The Board report will include updates about what has happened most recently in the stages of the Strategic Plan, where in the process we currently are, and the next stages of the process The Board will be using time during conventions to engage members
