12 A word of advice: Find the balance between challenging yourself academically and putting yourself in a situation where you are overwhelmed because you have taken on too much. Keep in mind your extra- curricular activities and responsibilities outside of school.

13 1. List what you have taken in high school, and what you are in now on the 4-Year Plan 2. List what you may want to take next year on the Scheduling Worksheet 3. Find your electives on the Elective Worksheet 4. Transfer your electives to the Family Connection survey  All students need to fit in Personal Finance & Economics before graduation! They must be taken together unless you plan to take AP Economics!

18 Freshmen will pick two electives If you are taking a foreign language that is one of your electives. Remember that everyone must take Personal Finance and Economics to graduate Find your electives on the Elective Worksheet

19  Academy of Science Students  Freshmen: You will have space for one elective – usually a foreign language  Reminder: All students need Economics & Personal Finance to graduate!!!

22  Freshmen will be called to see their counselor through their PE class for scheduling  You will choose your core courses and levels  You will choose your electives at this time  Please share this scheduling information with your parents as they may have suggestions

23  June 19, 2015 is the deadline to change student course requests  Student course requests will be considered final after this date!  We cannot change your requests after this date!!!
