3. Three ways to become a U.S. Citizen
Jus Soli
Law of the Soil
This says you are an American citizen if you are born on American soil.
Jus Sanguines
Law of the Blood
This says that if one of your parents is an American, then you are an American Citizen.
Naturalization
Gaining citizenship after birth.

4. Naturalization, the process
Naturalization is a four step process
Petition for naturalization
This is kind of like a job application
Take a class on naturalization
Just like a class here at the high school
Go through an interview process
Again think of a job interview
Pass the naturalization test
Take a test on questions about the United States of America.
