Step by Step Guide Building Your 4-6 Year Plan

Go to www.bridges.comwww.bridges.com Go to Student Sign In Portfolio name: amaisd + 6 digit id # Example: amaisd009876 Password: 8 digit birthday YYYYMMDD Example (January 4, 1994 would be entered like this: Example: 19940104

Select CHOICES Planner

Select Course Plan Builder

“START A NEW SCHOOL COURSE PLAN” If you have never created a 4-6 year plan, you will select

To EDIT an existing plan, simply select the plan you wish to edit)

Select a Career Cluster of Interest

If you are unsure, you might want to go back to take a career assessment:

Choose the pathway you are interested in pursuing in high school *******Plans will be updated annually and are not set in stone

Select ADD TO YOUR PLAN (If you don’t like this cluster or plan you may click on CHOOSE A DIFFERENT CLUSTER AND REPEAT Steps 5 and 6 above until you find a course plan you want to use)

You now see the grid containing Your Course Plan. You will also see details of your Planned, Enrolled and Completed courses broken down by subject area.

Begin with the cell you wish to edit

When you click on EDIT inside a cell, note step 1, step 2 and step 3 Step 1 may contain a course(s) that are recommended for your chosen Plan Step 2 is where you remove any “wrong” courses Step 3 is a list of all course options

IF THE CORRECT COURSE IS LISTED: do nothing; and move on to the course in the next cell.

IF THE “WRONG” COURSE IS LISTED: Click on the Edit button in the appropriate cell of the grid. Go to Step 2 on the screen and Click on the Remove button to remove the inappropriate course(s). Go to Step 3 and Scroll down to find the appropriate course (s). When you find the appropriate course(s), click on the Add button to the left. Now click on Return to your course plan at the bottom of the page

IF THE CELL IS BLANK If the cell is blank and you want to add a course, click on the Edit button in the appropriate cell. Go to Step 3 and scroll down to find the appropriate course (s), Click on the Add button to the left. Click on Return to your course plan at the bottom of the page

FOLLOW THE STEPS FOR EACH SUBJECT AREA AND GRADE LEVEL TO COMPLETE YOUR PLAN

If you have created more than one plan you will need to select your Master Plan

To select your Master Plan Click on the purple Learn tab (at the top of the page) Click on Course Plan Builder (at the top right of the page) Look at all your course plans and determine which one you want to make your Master Plan.

If you are interested in pursing the DAP (Distinguished Education Program) Click the Edit button and type in the name of your program and DAP

Edit and Add Information

Submit for Approval

Be sure your advisor checks and approves your plan before logging off

Congratulations!!!! Your Plan is Complete
