What should we do in light of the fact that God has purified us from sin before Him?

I. Draw Near to God (19-22)

Hebrews 10:19-22 19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God

Hebrews 10:19-22 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

APPLICATION 1. Hebrews 3:13 “…encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”

APPLICATION 2. God has commanded that we gather together and build each other up. We cannot do that if we do not gather together.

APPLICATION 3. God wants a relationship with you and has made everything possible for you to be able to come into his presence- but He will not force you. He wants you to love Him because as I John 4;19, “We love Him because he first loved us.”

With fellow Christians who know the way and can lead safely ahead of us, and with others behind, gently encouraging us along, we, too, can pass safely.
