3 Tidbit Louis Armstrong wore the Star of David emblem across his neck for the rest of his life in remembrance of the Karnofsky’s, who gifted him his very first cornet as a child.

5 Tidbit One of the main reasons Louis Armstrong decided to tour Europe was because of the effect the major mob wars were having on the night club scene.
