38 Ask a Counselor or Teacher at Your School Check what courses are offered Ask about events and field trips You may be able to do “job shadowing” Your school may also offer mentors, mock interviews, and internships

39 How does a student get Tech Prep college credit? She should see which Tech Prep classes her high school currently offers. If these classes fit her interests and career goals, or if she wants to explore the career field, she should choose one of these classes. Then, she should ask a counselor or teacher how she can get college credit.

40 What does a student do with their Tech Prep college credit? She should bring the advanced standing certificate (which she will receive) and any supporting materials to the college of her choice when she registers.
