Active Link from Philips is an activity monitor that measures all types of movement ◦ Standing ◦ Bending ◦ Side to side ◦ Forward/backward It is a USB device that can be worn clipped or hung around the neck Unlike the Activity calculator on eTools®, Active Link measures activity throughout the day

The monitor plugs into a USB port and syncs with the software installed on the computer The data is then uploaded to the internet and shared with Weight Watchers eTools

An initial 8-day assessment measures typical activity and establishes an activity goal for the user to attain The software allows the user to name an activity, which can affect Activity Points Plus ®Values earned Challenges encourage users to increase points earned gradually
