3. Behaviors/Functions 1. Wake up alarm: At a set time, turns on lights, plays alarm until it detects you getting out of bed, then rolls around making you catch it to turn off alarm. Then starts coffee, and gives weather forecast. 2. Energy police: wanders searching for lights on, if no humans present, turns off lights. 3. Security guard: Roams house, uses pyroelectric sensor to detect intruders, turns on lights.

4. Hardware Two wheel “capsule” design with low COG. Wheels driven by two DC gearmotors. Adjustable weight in bottom allows for controlling the capsule’s pitch.
