3 Introduction The purpose of this workshop is to provide teachers the opportunity to become acquainted with Poll Everywhere and show how cell phones can be effective tools in the classroom.

4 $ How much does it cost? Plans for small classrooms to giant stadiums Poll Everywhere is free for audiences of 30 people or less and Poll Everywhere offers paid plans for larger audiences. K-12 and Higher Education semester-long plans are also available.

5 Cell Phones in the Classroom What are some ways that your students have used cell phones inappropriately in the classroom? Do you know how to use cell phones as an effective teaching tool? Does your school block cell phone usage? Would administrators support the use of cell phones as a teaching tool?

6 Why use Poll Everywhere? Poll Everywhere is a great way to teach 3 rd grade students how to use cell phones to collect data for graphing purposes. Poll Everywhere is a great way to teach 3 rd grade children how to create data collection instruments. Poll Everywhere is an efficient way of displaying authentic data for analysis. Poll Everywhere is NOT a great tool to teach 3 rd graders how to create graphs.

7 Why use Poll Everywhere? Poll Everywhere is a great way to review exercise-related concepts with high school students through assessments.
