7. N-DEx Data Standards Extensible Markup Language (XML) - structured language for describing information being sent electronically to N-DEx. The National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) is using the GJXDM to build a common XML data exchange standard for information sharing among: - Department of Homeland Security - Department of Justice - Justice, public safety, homeland security, and intelligence.
