They also have deep historic roots there, as the Torah states that the great fathers of the Jewish nation lived there. The Christians want Israel because that is where they say the first Christians worshipped and that is where Christianity originated, so the land should be theirs. The Muslims would like to have Israel partly because they hate the Jews, and some even feel that Jews are Satanic.
