GATES AND COGATS O Gates: Reading test taken twice a year O CogATs: Cognitive ability test taken by first graders in the beginning of March O These tests do not impact report card grades!

BIRTHDAYS O Each child will be permitted to celebrate his/her birthday in school! O Notes will go home to confirm day and time O Best times: 9:45AM or 12:20PM O Treats are allowed (30 students) O Bring in a favorite book

IMPORTANT REMINDERS O Notes must be sent in for any dismissal changes (not e-mailed) O Notes must be sent in on the day your child returns to school from being absent O Lunch coupons are collected each morning (no cash can be accepted)
