2. Background  Grid TT has taken an important role on using grid to spatial information filed.  Grid and Web Service.  More and more grid technologies are used in applications; Less and less fund on pure grid projects.

3. Where Should Grid TT Go?  Which role should Grid TT act as in the future: Grid technologies research and follow up? CEOS grid technologies transfer to follow-up agencies? Focus on grid applications? Other Items?  Merge with the other Task Team? (such as WAG)

4. Future work - Packing Up  Collecting the achievement of CEOS Grid. Documents, Standards, Interface Sharing Middleware, server and service Sharing Client Tools  On-line CEOS Grid Knowledge Center (as part of WGISS Menu?) FTP? Handbook? Index Page?

5. Future Work – Transfer  Help Follow-up agencies to plan their grid based applications  Encourage and Support them to use our CEOS Grid technical components

Websites Host  Original websites run well by NASA Public Task Team website at ht tp://lennier.gsfc.nasa.gov/grid tp://lennier.gsfc.nasa.gov/grid Password protected working website at http://grid-tech.ceos.org/gridwiki  Who would like to host them?  Who will take the responsibility to update them?

7.  Method A NASA continue to host such sites NASA continue to update such sites  Method B NRSCC is likely to host such websites.  How to move them? The HW/SW requirement of running the sites? NRSCC is likely to take regular information update Call for volunteer experts to take grid technologies update

8. Communication  Teleconference Can be changed to MSN or other network communication tools? More cheap! Powerful: white board, file sharing, demonstration, recording,etc. Problem: how to find a suitable time for Asia, Europe and America?

9.  Workshop Regular session during WGISS plenary Special Tec-Transfer Project Workshop (such as Asia countries, it is easy to organized )  China will present Forestry Management Grid as a demo case  Thailand ?  Other countries ?
