DTC in SCT MRes Unit 2009-10 CH50182 – Materials chemistry for sustainable energy Staff:Dr Tim Mays (TJM, Chemical Engineering) Prof Saiful Islam (MSI, Chemistry) This is a 6-credit, master’s level unit designed to give DTC in SCT MRes students a broad overview and appreciation of energy materials chemistry together with a focus on hydrogen storage (TJM) and battery (MSI) systems. In common with other MRes units CH50182 involves one week’s intensive study (lectures, workshops, …) at the end of which students will be assessed via symposium presentations.
