Any comments are due to Educational Affairs by September 14, 2011).

Elimination of DCCCD Emphasis Degrees All DCCCD Emphasis Degrees will be eliminated beginning with the 2013 academic year. Exceptions are those University Articulated Agreements.

DCCCD Curriculum Tech Prep DCCCD will continue to honor 2010 and 2011 agreements with Independent School Districts (ISD’s). -- DCCCD will continue to work with ISD’s to transition students into Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. -- Building new transition programs.

DCCCD Curriculum Dual Credit Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) new rule- No reimbursement for Dual Credit Physical Education activity courses. Still awaiting word on non-activity courses. DCCCD Board approved at August meeting to charge tuition for out-of-county, online Dual Credit students.
