2 Class of 2010 and survey responses  May 2010: 126 graduates 103 Economics majors 23 Economics minors  100 survey responses (≈ 80%) Most were students in the College of Arts & Sciences. Some students, however, pursued a second major or a minor in economics in addition to obtaining a degree from the other WU schools.

3 What else are Economics majors & minors studying at WU?  “PRIME” means this is your A.B. (or B.S.) degree 60 “prime” in Econ  The majority of the survey respondents were earning a Bachelor’s in Economics…but not all!

4 Second majors  Of the 60 who were prime in Economics, many had another major, too.

5 Minors  Of the 60 who were prime in Economics, many also had a minor (or two).

6 Post-graduation plans for majors  53 of our majors had clear post- graduation plans by May 2010.

9 Majors going to Graduate School  Of the 100 respondents, 14 economics majors were off to grad school.  Law school is most common; but it’s not the whole picture! Medical school is an increasing outcome.
