3.  Anne Frank was born on July 12 th 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany.  Anne was part of the family business which worked by banking and the manufacture of cough drops.  She went to a Montessori school.  For her 13th birthday, her parents gave her a diary which she called Kitty.  They hid in a secret annex for two years.  Anne Frank died from Typhus.

4.  Born February 16 th 1926(1926-02-16)  She attended the Ludwig-Richter School.  On July 5 th 1942, she received a notice to report to a labor camp.  She died March 9 th 1945 (aged 19)

5.  Born May 12 th 1889.  He remarried after his wives Edith franks death.  Otto died of Lung cancer.  He died August 19 th 1980 (aged 91)

6.  Born January 16 th 1900, Aachen, Germany.  Birth Name Edith Holländer  Died January 6 th 1945, Auschwitz, concentration camp, Poland (starvation).

9. o Beginning of the Second World War, Concentration Camps became places where the enemies of the Nazis were enslaved, starved, tortured and killed. o During the War concentration camps were for the “undesirables” (Jews, Polish,Communists or Roma). o The camps were liberated by the Allies between 1943 and 1945, often too late to save the prisoners remaining.

10. Anne and Margot went to Auschwitz then moved to Bergen-Belsen.
