I chose to write about Anne Frank because her story is inspiring to me and to a lot of people around the world. I really love her story she stay strong until she died and was a very brave young girl that’s why I love her story.

Anne Frank was born in June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt Amsterdam Germany. She was the second child of Edith and Otto Frank. Margot and Anne Frank The Frank Family

Anne Frank’s Early Life Anne Frank was a very happy kid, she loved school and talked a lot. She lived a relatively happy and normal childhood. Anne Frank was attending to Amsterdam’s sixth Montessori School in 1934. Anne had many friends, Dutch and German, Jewish and Christian.

September 1, 1939 The Nazis Germany invaded Poland igniting a global conflict that would grow to become World War II. Beginning in October 1940, the Nazi occupiers imposed anti-Jewish measures on the Netherlands. The Dutch surrendered on May 15, 1940, marking the beginning of the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.

Jews were required to wear a yellow Star of David at all times and observe a strict curfew; they were also forbidden from owning businesses.

On July 1942 The Franks went on hiding on an empty space at the back of Otto Frank’s company building which they referred to as the secret annex.

The Van Pels also hide with the Franks in the secret annex. Hermann was Otto's partner at work and went on hiding with her wife and son. Auguste Van pel Peter van pel Hermann Van pel

Fritz Pfeffer was a jewish dentist who also went on hiding with the Franks and Van pels. He was a good friend of Otto Frank

While they were in the hiding place they had certain times to do different activities such as reading,eating, and sleeping. They were not allowed to make any noise during shift hours so the workers in the factory wouldn’t hear them and turn them in. The families spent 2 years hiding never once stepping outside the dark, and damps.

On August 4, 1944, A German secret police officer accompanied by four Dutch Nazis stormed into the secret annex, arresting everyone that was hiding there. The residents of the secret annex were all sent to camp Wasterbork, a concentration camp in the northeastern Netherlands, and arrived on August 8,1944. Men and woman were separated from each other.

Wasterborks concentration camp in Northeastern, Netherlands was the first concentration were Anne and her family was sent. They were transferred to the Auschwitz death camp in Poland in the middle of the night on September 3, 1944.

Edith Frank fell ill and died in January 1945. Margot Frank came down with typhus and died in March 1945. Anne Frank came also with typhus and died in March 1945. Otto Frank was the only survivor from the family.

What I learned about Anne Frank was that she was a strong, brave young girl who fought until her death.. I really love her story because she has inspire a lot of people.
