Heart of Worship
6
When the music fades and all is stripped away And I simply come Longing just to bring something that’s of worth That will bless Your heart
7
I’ll bring you more than a song For a song in itself Is not what you have required You search much deeper within Through the way things appear You’re looking into my heart
8
I’m coming back to the heart of worship And it’s all about You It’s all about You, Jesus I’m sorry, Lord for the things I’ve made it When it’s all about You It’s all about You, Jesus
9
King of endless worth, no one could express How much You deserve Though I’m weak and poor, all I have is Yours Every single breath
10
I’ll bring you more than a song For a song in itself Is not what you have required You search much deeper within Through the way things appear You’re looking into my heart

Once Again
14
Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice You became nothing, poured out to death Many times, I’ve wondered at your gift of life And I’m in that place once again I’m in that place once again
15
And once again I look upon the cross where You died I’m humbled by Your mercy and I’m broken inside Once again I thank You Once again I pour out my life
16
Now You are exalted to the highest place King of the heavens, where one day I’ll bow But for now, I marvel at Your saving grace And I’m full of praise once again I’m full of praise once again
17
And once again I look upon the cross where You died I’m humbled by Your mercy and I’m broken inside Once again I thank You Once again I pour out my life
18
Thank You for the cross Thank You for the cross, my friend

At the Cross
23
Oh Lord You’ve searched me You know my way Even when I fail You I know You love me
24
Your holy presence Surrounding me In every season I know You love me
25
At the cross I bow my knee Where Your blood was shed for me There’s no greater love than this You have overcome the grave Your glory fills the highest place What can separate me now?
26
You go before me You shield my way Your hand upholds me I know You love me
27
At the cross I bow my knee Where Your blood was shed for me There’s no greater love than this You have overcome the grave Your glory fills the highest place What can separate me now?
28

29
You tore the veil, You made a way When You said that it is done You tore the veil, You made a way When You said that it is done
30
And when the earth fades Falls from my eyes And You stand before me I know You love me
31
At the cross I bow my knee Where Your blood was shed for me There’s no greater love than this You have overcome the grave Your glory fills the highest place What can separate me now?

37
Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD; O Lord, hear my voice. Let Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
38
If You, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness; Therefore, You are feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope. -- Psalm 130:1-5
42
Remember Me
43
In the night in which our Savior was betrayed He broke the bread and to His friends He said
44
Take and eat, this is My body given for you Take and drink, this blood of mine is shed for you
45
Do this always to remember me Remember me
46
In the night in which our Savior was denied He bowed His head and to the Father cried
47
If it be Your will, let this cup pass from Me If it be Your will, spare Me this agony
48
In my darkest hour will You remember me Remember me
49
In the night in which my deepest doubts are known You come to me and I am not alone
50
When I taste Your blood and body given for me When I hear Your prayer in dark Gethsemane
51
Then I know You will remember me Remember me
52
Oh Lord remember me Remember me!
55
28 Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty.”
56
29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips.
57
Communion Meditation “I THIRST” John 19:28-29
58
IMPORTANCE OF THE LORD’S SUPPER Reminder of our identity: Child of God, Member of God’s Family, Saint Experience the presence of God: Spiritual nourishment, benefits of the atonement, promises of God Be changed Foretaste of heaven
59
Danger of the Lord’s Supper 1.Routine 2.Misunderstand 3.Eat unworthily
60
“Were You There?” Lord’s Supper symbolizes the death of Christ I participate/share in Jesus’ death.
61
“knowing that all was now completed…” Jesus is on a mission from God “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17
62
The Mission was predicted, described by the Law and prophets Ps 22:15, My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.
63
Jesus is not a victim but is in control The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life —only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father. John 10:17-18
64
You know how I am scorned, disgraced and shamed; all my enemies are before you. Scorn has broken my heart and has left me helpless; I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found none. They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst. Psalm 69:19-22
65
“I thirst.” Thirst in ANE is a big problem. Thirst is a mark of our humanity Fulfills Prophecy “Thirst” figuratively represents spiritual dissatisfaction, a longing for God
66
What was Jesus thirsty for? “LIVING WATER” “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water…. but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:10,14
67
“Thirst” Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Ps 42:1-2
68
It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. John 13:1
69
Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Rev. 7:16-17
70
Are you thirsty, like Jesus? “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live.” Isaiah 55:1-3
