7 Complimentary Colours
Complementary colours are two colours that contrast with each other. They are always a primary and secondary colour. Two ways to remember complementary colours are:

8 That they are colours, which are found at the opposite side of the colour spectrum.
Each primary colour – RED, YELLOW, BLUE, has a complimentary, which appears opposite it in the colour spectrum. It is made by mixing the other two primary colours together.

9 When complementary colours are placed side by side the two colours fight for your eyes attention. The colours become vibrant and intensive, the effect is visually stimulating.
