All Festival Arrangements, including necessary clearances, permits and promotion Round-trip transportation by scheduled airline with local deluxe motorcoach on arrival, Hotel Accommodation based on quad occupancy Meals include all breakfasts and dinners, and two box lunches while in Washington, D.C. Music Celebrations International extends an official invitation to the Dothan High School Choir to participate in America’s National Presidents Day Choral Festival in Washington, D.C., to take place on Presidents’ Day – February 20 th, 2012. Music Celebrations is pleased to create and organize this special Choral Salute to America’s Greatest Presidents – George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. This celebration will take place in the Concert Hall in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts under the Artistic Direction of Dr. André Thomas, Director of Choral Activities at Florida State University. Note Merely an evening for Washington, this national festival will be an evening for the entire country – a major opportunity to draw the attention of Americans to the impact these great men have made not only in our country but around the world.

Saturday, February 18 th, 2012 Arrive in Washington, D.C. Meet your Tour Manager(s), who will escort you through the duration of your activities Take a panoramic motorcoach tour of Historic Washington D.C. Check into your hotel 4:30pm Welcome Dinner and Festival Introductions 7:00pm — 10:00pm Evening Festival Chorus Rehearsal Sunday, February 19 th, 2012 Breakfast at the hotel 9:00am — 12:00pm Morning Festival Chorus Rehearsal Enjoy a box lunch en route to Arlington National Cemetery Take a tour of Arlington National Cemetery to participate in the special U.S. Military Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns (pending confirmation) Visit Ford ’ s Theater, where Lincoln was shot, and the Peterson House, where Lincoln passed away Dinner at a local restaurant 7:00pm — 10:00pm Evening Festival Chorus Rehearsal Monday, February 20 th, 2012 Breakfast at the hotel 10:00am Festival Chorus Dress Rehearsal in the Kennedy Center Following rehearsal, box lunch is provided 2:00pm National Presidents Day Choral Festival Performance in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (to be confirmed) Dinner at a local restaurant Take an evening walking tour of the Lincoln, Korean, Vietnam, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and National World War II Memorials, as well as the Washington Monument Tuesday, February 21 st, 2012 Breakfast at the hotel Take a tour of the Smithsonian Institute ’ s American History Museum, Natural History Museum, or Air & Space Museum Lunch, on own, at the Old Post Office Pavilion Take a walk along Pennsylvania Avenue for a view of the White House (White House visits must be requested through a member of Congress) Take a walking tour of Capitol Hill and see the Supreme Court and Capitol buildings Visit the Library of Congress, the largest library in the world Dinner at a local restaurant Take an evening walking tour of the Jefferson Memorial and the Iwo Jima Marine Memorial Return to your hotel for overnight Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 Breakfast at the hotel Hotel check-out and board motorcoach Morning visit to George Washington ’ s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens Lunch, on own, at Mount Vernon Afternoon departure for home
