Probe A space ship with no people but with instruments and cameras sent into space to get information that it sends back to Earth.

Rover A crewed or uncrewed vehicle used in exploring the terrain of a planet. Mars Rover

Satellite An object that orbits another object. Natural Satellites are moons that orbit planets. Artificial Satellites are man made. They send and receive info. about earth and space. Natural Satellites Artificial Satellite

Space Shuttle A reusable spacecraft with wings designed to be launched like a rocket, to carry out a mission, and to land on Earth like an airplane. They bring people, equipment and satellites into space.

Space Station A large satellite where astronauts and scientists live. It is designed to remain in orbit around Earth for an extended period. Serves as a base for exploration, conducting research, repairing satellites, and performing other space- related activities.
