Set clear academic and behavior expectations.
Set up a set HOMEWORK time each day of at least 1 hour. (Total)

If there is nothing due, then have your student
Study/review Journals/Notebooks
Read/review textbook pages
Do practice problems from back of text (Math)
Online Resources
Classroom website
Quizlet, textbook sites, Khan Academy, Thinkfinity
Verify that homework is neat, complete, and put away in a binder/folder.
Check grades on PINNACLE.
Sign up for TEXTED/ ED reminders.
Encourage independence.
Encourage backpack organization/clean out WEEKLY (Student task)
Keep all returned papers in a file box.
