Plains – land without elevation Mountain – natural elevation of land that reaches great heights. Valleys – flat areas located between mountains Metropolitan area – a zone that forms around a large city. Includes building, stores, residential areas. Vault – a structure of stone or concrete that is shape like an arch. Forms a ceiling roof.
