DID YOU KNOW…. that Mexicans believe carrying a suitcase around the neighborhood on New Year’s Eve will increase their chances at travel during the coming year?

Did you know… that Americans believe kissing at midnight will result in love and affection that lasts all year long?

Did you also know…. that the Chinese have a twelve year cycle with each cycle being named after an animal. It is believed that the person takes on the characteristic of the cycle in which he or she is born. 2009: Year of the Ox

Did you know… that in Australia it is considered a bad omen to see an old woman on New Years.

Did you know… that in Italy people throw old materials like old utensils, furniture, and clothes out of the window. This is supposed to bring good luck for the coming year and throw out the misfortunes of the previous year.
