What is it? Stage 4 in sleeping is the deepest stage form of sleep. It emits delta waves. –The large slow brain waves associated with deep sleep. –It’s considered the delta sleep or slow wave sleep. Even though your deeply a sleep, your brain processes a certain stimuli. –50 more percent of delta waves than stage 3

Continue….. We are most likely to find sleep walking and night terrors. The delta waves lasts for about 30 minutes and it is difficult to wake up. For example, about 20% of 3 to 12 year old sleep walk usually lasting for 2-10 minutes and 5% continues. Children might bed wet during this stage.

Continue….. There is a pattern of deep sleeping and rhythmic continuity.
