METHODS EMPLOYED 125 ft of self-adjusting & self-filtering Longitudinal Peaked Stone Toe Protection {LPSTP}. Mix of DOT heavy & medium graded stone. All protection is on right bank 100 ft of stacked stone wall in the impact zone (upstream end of project) Curved & vegetated keys on US & DS ends, 1 vegged tieback & key in middle of project A stone check dam at DS end {did not have enuf stone for an Engineered Rocked Riffle} A curved kicker (Smile) to form a curved pool Five Single-Stone Bendway Weirs Several transplanted Streamco Willow shrubs Live Siltation, Pole Plantings, & Live Staking using Streamco & Black Willows, Red Osier & Silky Dogwoods Rooted-stock Red Osier Dogwood (6 plants)

TRANSPLANTING A LARGE CLUMP OF WILLOW Multi-stem (20 to 40 stems) bushes approx. 14 to 24 ft tall, transplanted as a single clump, with roots in trench directly behind the LPSTP. Tops of branches were trimmed & used as Live Poles (6 to 10 ft long).
