5. Is Accelerated Right for Me?  Does the student enjoy reading?  Does the student read at a quick pace?  Does the student enjoy writing?  There is about 1/3 more reading and writing assigned in the accelerated courses.

6. Accelerated 9 Requirements  95 Average  Teacher Recommendation (about 25% of the 8 th Grade class was recommended with a 95 average)  All English Courses Have Summer Reading Assignments
