Topics covered include cassette making and labeling, fixation, processing, embedding, cutting, staining and cover slipping.

During each session, WPI students and faculty facilitate a wide variety of hands- on activities that promote creativity, problem solving, and teamwork.

As part of the middle school tour, the Engineering Ambassadors accomplish this by leading hands-on engineering design activities.

Students explore what a smart damper is used for, investigate how a smart infrastructure is built, see applications of physics concepts such as force, and gain exposure to concepts of structural vibration control.
