Report on ENGAGE Administrative issues: Need to report for the first year Activity report can be easily handled (Nikos) Financial reporting – probably we should have contracts in place to claim costs for first year. Probably solution: Sign contracts with persons with previous time points as start dates

Report on ENGAGE (1/2) ENGAGE review: first week of July 2012 WP3: Architecture proposed by STFC and euroCRIS has been adopted by the consortium – CERIF is central to this architecture WP4: Evaluation of ENGAGE scenarios – Deliverable due December 2012 – First draft of methodology / evaluation framework is being prepared – First informal meeting in Bath – Second meeting in Prague

Report on ENGAGE (2/2) WP5: technical development – WP5 euroCRIS ENGAGE team has been formed – Collaboration environment has been setup at EKT – Definite target: Have the second year (June 2013) release of ENGAGE run on a CERIF back-end – Potential target: Have the first public release of ENGAGE (probably until end of year 2012) run on a CERIF back-end

Report on EuroRIs-Net+ Subcontracting work officially assigned by the NHRF Board to euroCRIS Contract signed - 12 months (starting February 2012) – 15.000 Euros Need to allocate work within euroCRIS First deliverable: Definition of a CERIF-based data model for the EuroRIs-Net+ Knowledge Repository on the basis of the system’s particular information representation requirements. Definition of the representation of EuroRIs-Net+ specific vocabularies in the CERIF Semantic Layer (due end of June 2012 – 7000 Euros)

Report on OpenAIREPlus Latest version of data model (version 0.9) compiled by CNR (Paolo Manghi) – adopts EKT-euroCRIS feedback in many places (still room for improvement) Feedback on version 0.9 compiled by EKT-euroCRIS and sent to CNR OpenAIREPlus to support CERIF import/export and probably some parts of the model natively Administrative procedures (official assignment to euroCRIS experts) to be completed by EKT

Submitted proposals PERICLES – ICT Call 6 – euroCRIS is the coordinator – landmark project for euroCRIS if successful DRACO – ICT Research infrastructures for archaeological datasets and related technologies – Coordinated by the University of Oxford – EKT subcontracts euroCRIS for applying CERIF to capture context in archaeology research activities. – Results expected during the summer

Submitted proposals PRODROME proposal submitted (February 2012) in the Science in Society Call Topic SIS.2012.1.3.3-1: Scientific data: open access, dissemination, preservation and use Coordinated by INTRASOFT International ENGAGE core of partners, including euroCRIS and STFC Evaluation results expected during the next few weeks
