FORMAL WORDS DESCRIBING POOR INCLUDE DESTITUTE, INDIGENT, AND PENURIOUS. SOCIALS ARE PREPPY, CLEAN CUT, AND WEAR MADRAS (PLAID). THEY ARE MEMBERS OF THE "IN" CROWD TO INCLUDE CHEERLEADERS, FOOTBALL PLAYERS, AND STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENTS. S OC IS SHORT FOR SOCIAL AND SPOKEN AS SO-SH! NOT SOCK. SOCS CRUISE AROUND IN CORVAIRS AND MUSTANGS (SPORTS CARS) AND LOVE THE BEATLES (MUSIC GROUP). THEY GO TO DRIVE IN MOVIES (BELOW).
