A tree house By Lucy Mann, Lauren Bloomfield, Joe Price, Arthur Chads Our idea is a

Tree house This new asset to the school will benefit everyone and will use up un-used space. It will be located on the furthest tree to the rite just rite of the amphitheatre. This will give the peer mentors some were to take the lower school children whilst admiring the beautiful south downs hills. To decide on how big the tree house should we asked fellow children by doing a survey. The size chosen was 3m by 3m which we predict will hold ten children. It will be made of soft wood timber to make it durable which will be covered in a sand paper like substance to prevent any one from slipping. Further more the sides will be made of soft wood timber however they will be decorated with bamboo sticks. The sides will then be attached to a willow roof with a water prof materiel covering the structure. A s the tree house is high up there will be a spiral stair case winding round the tree to get to the tree house will be Manley by peer mentors as a place to play games and discover wild life. Parent survey Before we chose the treehouse we had 3 ideas treehouse, fencing at the top of the bank and a basketball court. This is what our parents thought and how we chose the treehouse. Q1:Which one has the most sustainability? Most of our parents thought Fencing but one parent said treehouse and another said basketball court. Q2: Which idea is the most innovative? All the parents thought the treehouse. Q3: Which idea will be the cheapest? 2 parents said fencing and 2 parents said basketball court however 1 parent said treehouse Q4: Which idea is the best? Sustainability Our treehouse will be sustained for a long time because none of our materials are cheep and worthless however, they are still cheep enough to stay in our budget of £5000. All of our materials are strong and stable so the can battle and survive the horrible British weathers. All of these points certainly show us that the treehouse will last al least 10-20 years.
