5 Things that can effect the survival rate of sea turtles.  The amount of lighting can effect the seas turtles by distracting them and setting them off track.  There can be predators in the area that can eat them such as: Pigeons, Raccoons and people also.  There can also be people that come and steal them for souvenirs.  Then there are vehicles that can run over them and kill them.  Lastly there can be that it is a populated beach so people stick there umbrellas in the nest or walk all over the nest.

Probability:  Probability: Is a way to measure the chances that something will occur in relation to the possible alternatives.

Corals Scientific Notification KKingdom: Animalia PPhylum: Cnidaria CClass: Anthozo

Things That Can Affect Probability Of Coral Survival:  Water temperature is one big thing that lower the survival rate of coral reefs.(70-83 degrees fare height, 21-28 degrees Celsius)  There can be no current where the coral decides to stay.  There can be no sunlight where the coral stays. Because where it stays is to deep.(coral reefs live in shallow water, maximum up to 56ft.  Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Do_coral_reefs_live_in_deep_or_shallow  There can be oil spills (example: The spill in the Gulf Of Mexico) the oil can poison the coral and then they die.  And lastly pollution can affect the coral reefs (example: Fish nets grab onto the coral, and then if there is current will tear pieces off the coral)  Also when coral reefs die they eventually turn white like so;

Variance  Variance: Is a value that describes how far away the number is from the mean.  It is different from the mean because the mean is the average of a group of numbers. But the variance is the statistical explanation on how far away is the number from the mean.

T-TEST  The T-TEST is a equation that you need to calculate the t- statistics is one designed to test whether there is a significant difference between the means of two independent samples,those of your treatment and control groups.  A t-test can be used to compare two means or proportions. The t-test is appropriate when all you want to do is to compare means.  The degrees of freedom are the number of extra numbers you need to specify your data completely, after you have provided a summary of your data.

 The Chi-Square test is a statistical test mostly used to compare observed data with data we would expect to obtain according to a specific hypothesis.  We reject the null hypothesis, and accept the alternative hypothesis that there is a significant difference in survival rates between beach sites.
