TIDE automatically resets all students’ designated support/ accommodation settings to default values after the test year is complete. 3.You can use part of your file next year to load many of your students’ designated supports/accommodations settings (if those settings remain the same next year).

Select “Export” and then “Export all to Excel.”

Open the Excel File downloaded from the previous slide and select the columns that help you identify your students (in this case it’s first name, last name and grade). Drop some columns that aren’t needed to identify your students and rearrange SSID to the far right Save this file on your desktop. (We’ll come back to it later.)

Insert Identifying columns into the Excel Template (above). Now, there is no need to type in SSIDs and you have all identifying student information. Columns inserted!

The list of supports/accommodations stretches far to the right. Many more supports/accommodations to the right After you’re finished assigning all supports/accommodations, delete all student identifying columns except the SSID Save this file. It is now ready for uploading into TIDE
