In the process of working on a challenging topic for a sponsor, students develop skills in: (from IIT) teamwork leadership and decision-making communicating verbally and in writing exercising creativity + problem solving technology commercialization balancing quality and economy gauging environmental cost-benefit considering ethical issues searching/synthesizing information building client/customer relationships appreciating multicultural issues planning/managing project activities
