Labor and Social Justice Fair Labor Unions and Community Groups Thursday April 30 th (Eve of MayDay 2009) 12pm-9pm at CSU Dominguez Hills University Loker Student Union (entire facility) Activities: Student participation, High School and College student essay competition, art competition, cash prizes

Loker Student Union “ Organizing and union democracy will take place” Insider of Loker Student Union Innovative organizing methods Workshops on careers in the labor movement and the Employee Free Choice Act Southwest Labor Studies Association will hold panels on labor research and labor education Labor Essay Competition (deadline: 3/30) Art Contest (deadline: 4/10) Outside of Loker Student Union Labor Union booths, guest speakers, performers, and refreshments
