7 7 Workday Demo All of the information about YOU is managed in Workday. Everything from contact information to salary. It also has links to other HA systems. This is what you will see when you first log-in.

8 8 Workday Demo One thing you should do ASAP is verify that your home and work contact information is correct. Outlook pulls your work contact information directly from workday so make sure this is up-to-date so people can reach you! Check out your contact information You can find others’ information in their outlook properties Click edit if you need to make changes

9 9 Workday Demo You will also do things like sign-up for benefits and complete your performance review. When it’s time to do those things a “task” will show up in your workday inbox. More on benefits later!

12 12 Paid Time Off, Holidays, and Sick time Three types: Paid Time Off (or PTO), Holidays, and Sick time.Holidays Granted sick time, but accrue PTO with each pay period You must request vacation ahead of time in Kronos Also have paid jury duty and bereavement leave

13 13 Kronos – Request Time Off My Actions Time Off Request Select the type of request, enter the dates that you would like to take off, record the hours per day (4 or 8 hours), then click next to send it to your manager.

14 14 Kronos – Check Your Vacation Balances My reports Select Accruals and Balances and enter a date and then hit view report You’ll see a report with your vacation, sick time and other balances (hint: the 2 nd column: Period Ending Balance is the one that matters)

17 17 Protecting You & Your Family – Choosing HealthCare/Medical Coverage Two types of plans offered through Cigna: Basic and Premium Can choose to cover just you, you and a spouse/domestic partner, or you and a family You must sign-up for medical coverage to receive dental and vision coverage You must have completed and submitted all required new hire paperwork before you will be able to enroll. You MUST sign up for healthcare benefits within your first 30 days on staff Benefits information on TFAHUB Teach For America offers staff members a choice of medical plans. Both plans are very generous based on what is offered by the plans and the cost to staff members.
