What is the Ohio Valley? This region stretches along the Ohio River from the Applachians to the Mississippi River. What caused the British and French to compete for the Ohio Valley? They both wanted land in the Ohio Valley.

They risked losing their lives and land but faced the benefit of gaining goods and land if their ally won the war. What became known as the Albany plan?
