2.  UMBCworks is an online database system that UMBC provides to students and faculty to help them locate and successfully apply for positions, in the workplace.  If you can login to “MyUMBC” you can access UMBCworks.  Have your resume edited/reviewed and updated –so that you can upload into “documents” when you enter UMBC works.

3. Step #1 Once you have internet access, go to the UMBC website: www.umbc.e du, and click “myUMBC” icon to login. www.umbc.e du Image 1: Image 2:

4. Image 4: Step #2 Once logged in: Place arrow on “TOPICS” Click “JOBS AND INTERNSHIPS” on the drop-down menu Click on “UMBCworks” icon Image 3:

5. Image 6 (optional): Step #3 place arrow on “jobs” and click “UMBCworks” (optional): If haven’t already, update “profile” and download resume onto “documents” before you go to “jobs” Image 5:

6. Step #4 Image 7: Enter relevant information into query, and click “search”

7. Step #5 Image 8: Image 9: Click on a job title that your interested in applying for From there read job info. and click “submit” and you have successfully applied for a position!

8.  Apply for any more jobs that you wish.  If you have questions and concerns, the Shriver Center is the place to go on campus. Make an appointment with a career advisor, if needed.  Best of Luck!
