2 User Feedback In order to facilitate improvements to job seeker functionality in JobQuest, we solicited feedback from users and collected data on their behavior online. –Google Analytics –Online survey –Focus groups Thank you to JobNet, ValleyWorks in Lawrence, and Workforce Central in Milford and Southbridge for helping with the focus groups.

4 Online Survey Findings Quantity and quality of jobs on JobQuest were comparable to other job sites (prior to the recent update) E-mail is preferred method of receiving job matches Ability to personalize the job search aid is important to users

5 Focus Group Findings Job search functionality is the primary reason for visiting JobQuest – users want to be able to access this feature quickly Users want jobs to be e-mailed to them – they seldom log in to check job matches Need to better promote workshops online – found out about them through CCS, not JobQuest Want more information on how to use the site Few had posted a resume on JobQuest
