Labor costs 40% (taken from pre-opening staff plan) Sales and marketing efforts 40% (advertising and promotion, contracts, public relations, and travelling to see clients) Miscellaneous 20% (office space before moving, utilities, recruitment and selection costs, licenses etc) Pre-Opening Budget:

$8000 to $10000 per room for 4 or 5 star hotel May exceed 2500 items (more for full service resort, less for in city business hotel) Include: Front office and lobby items Guest room items Food and beverage (F&B) items Banquet items Kitchen items Administrative office items Staff uniform Operational Supplies and Equipment:
